Finished!

After a few more days of work on her, she is finished! Well I still need to seal her, but I want to make sure I don't find something I need to change first. That said, I am very happy with how she turned out, even if it is not the direction that I started. She is made completely out of magazine paper. At the moment she is untitled. I will update that when I come up with one. (If you can, step away from the computer and look at her from a distance. The experience is worth it.)

Finished Pieces

Worked on putting finishing touches on several pieces previously uploaded, here are a couple.
Enjoy!

In progress

This piece is what I am currently working on and the last picture I am putting up this morning. She is coming along slowly, but will be worth the wait.

Mask

This is also out of my current body of work. It was inspired by my art students and their amazing ability to change the persona they wear depending on who they are around. Like most people, you never really see what that person hides inside. It is like wearing an elaborate mask.

More recent work

This piece is out of my current body of work. It is a highly symbolic piece, that I view as a self portrait.
