Mask

This is also out of my current body of work. It was inspired by my art students and their amazing ability to change the persona they wear depending on who they are around. Like most people, you never really see what that person hides inside. It is like wearing an elaborate mask.

  1. I really like this one. I would love this in a 4X8. I love you,

  2. I know this is 3-4 years late, but I love this so much! The swirl/embellishments are so intricate and beautiful. Do you plan every single one of them out, or just go with the flow? Mr. Mcintyre always wanted us to plan things out for days, and I always wanted to be spontaneous! (With some planning, but not much) Lol.

  3. Thank you Melissa! I really appreciate the compliment. It really depends on the piece to how much I plan out. This one I just went with the flow and let what happened happen. I have never planned out a piece the way he taught y'all to plan everything out because I get to excited to just start and see what happens. I think Nick enjoys the planning more than he likes making art, so that is how he teaches.
